Sobhita Dhulipala calls visiting Kamathipura, a life-changing event
Sobhita is currently working for her Tollywood debut with Avidi SeshÔÇÖs ÔÇ£GoodachariÔÇØ and simultaneously she is preparing for ÔÇ£MoothonÔÇØ. While preparing for her role, she visited one of the most infamous red light areas of Asia ÔÇÿKamathipuraÔÇÖ, a ferocious hidden place in Mumbai, and her experience was indeed incredible.
Though Sobhita is already a bold actress, she calls herself lucky to be able to encounter such experiences at the age of just 24.
In the film, she is going to play a brave woman from Kamathipura. The visit was character-building, she interacted with a lot of families and even lived with them in their tiny rooms in the brothel.
She says, ÔÇ£In India, people still discriminate people based on caste, religion or job, but therein Kamathipura even after the bristling living, the women there were kind and tender.ÔÇØ She also mentioned that the shoot was quite hectic. The team of Moothon worked for 20 hours a day.
Sobhita Dhulipala made her Bollywood debut with Filmmaker Anurag KashyapÔÇÖs psychological thriller ÔÇÿRaman Raghav 2.0ÔÇÖ. Not only that, Anurag Kashyap has written the dialogues for ÔÇÿMoothonÔÇÖ, and Geetu Mohandas is the director of the film.
Hopefully, the film will release next year.
