Adhey Kangal was a popular thriller in the late 1960s, the namesake in 2017 begins as a romantic movie but soon takes its pace as a thriller. The story line is very interesting but making it as a movie has lost some of its charms.

Adhe Kangal (2017) Movie Review:
Varun (Kalaiyarasan), a visually challenged chef falls in love with Deepa (Sshivada). His friend Sadhana (Janani Iyer) is in love with him. The movie jumps to the thriller mode when there is an abduction, shortly after an accident. The transformation of the movie into a thriller makes everyone sit up. The second half is interesting compared to the first part, even though most of the plots are given away by the screenplay. The character of the villain and the story are very interesting indeed. Unfortunately, the screenplay is a big letdown for such a story. Actress Sshivada has an exemplary smile, supports the movie with her acting. We hope to see more interesting movies from her, this is her third movie after Nedunchaalai and Zero.
Main Highlights of the Movie: + Positive Points
1. Actress Sshivada has been given a remarkable performance. Her character and acting stays in the mind
2. Storyline is different
Main Lowlights of the Movie: – Negative Points
1. Although the story is good, the screenplay gives away most of the plots.
2. The comedy track does not help the movie.
